Signs
The top two signs are taped to our front door. Originally Jack wanted to write "Save the wild fires," but Todd helped him re-word it a bit.

On the way home from school today Jack said, "Hey, Mom. Will thought it was okay to throw a rock today. He threw a rock over a group of about nine boys and it almost hit a tree. And trees give us paper towels. And oxygen. And nice windy days. And they save us from dying."

"I didn't learn how to read."
That's what Jack told me when I asked him what he learned on his first day of Kindergarten. Then today when I asked him if he learned any new names from his class, he said, "No, Mom, it's only the second day." I guess I'd better stop pressuring him...

Today I asked Lucy to do something, and when she didn't hop to it (shocker), I asked her again. She said "Okaaay, Mom. Whatever." She's TWO.
