Me: What did you do after your nap?
Jack: I played with Luce.
Me: Were you gentle with her?
Jack: No, I was too hard on her for a while, but then I was gentle.
Me: Why were you too hard on her?
Jack: Because I wanted to.


Me: Jack, don't play with those blinds, please.
Jack: But I'm a kid, not a parent, so I don't know that I'm not supposed to play with blinds.
