I thought he had been quiet for far too long
As I was lounging on my bed the other morning, Jack was lying on the floor next to me (apparently with a green highlighter). After several minutes he pops up and says, "Tattoo!"I told him we had to wash it off and he said, "Okay, but not the mustache."

Wealth of Knowledge
When Jack woke up this morning, he told me that when you pull beets out of the ground they're really big. Then on the way to school he told me that the sun is a big ball of burning gas.
I think I learned that, like, two years ago. Daycares are pretty advanced these days.

What we were looking at while our children were safe and sound at daycare
Todd and I took advantage of MLK day by heading to a vineyard in South Austin. The guilt wore off little by little after each sip.
