We took the kids kayaking at night downtown to see the fireworks. We had a great time for the first hour and a half while we were rowing and floating on the lake. But as soon as the fireworks started, Jack LOST HIS MIND. He got extremely scared, starting crying and screaming that he wanted to go home. Thus no pictures of the fireworks (which were very nice, in my opinion). Next year we'll probably do something else. Maybe some sparklers. But no regrets.
